Content Review. The Washington Department of Licensing requires that you complete a series of learning objectives followed by quiz questions. You must achieve a pass grade of 80 percent to receive credit for each objective. Continue reading and answering any quiz questions to move through and complete this section.

Evaluation Form. The Washington Department of Licensing requires that you complete an evaluation form before receiving a completion certificate.

Print Completion Certificate. You can print the course completion certificate at any time or you can wait to receive it in the mail.

Renewal fees and continuing education may be submitted by mail or in person at the Washington State Department of Licensing Olympia office. Online renewal is also available by using a Visa or Mastercard Debit, entering the password that is provided on your renewal notice and, if actively licensed, education information. When the on-line renewal process is complete, a confirmation screen will be displayed that you should print for your records. Renewed licenses will be sent to the address on file within 14 business days.

You have one year from the expiration date of your license to pay your renewal and penalty fee or your license will be canceled. Each licensee is responsible for renewing their license on time. Please be aware of the expiration date on your license, as you are also considered unlicensed during the expiration period.
